Does PYV provide transport to camp?
Getting to or from camp is the responsibility of parents (if camper is under 18). If you are stuck for a lift, you can contact us on (03) 9017 4676, and we may be able to put you in contact with another parent from your area, with whom you could make your own arrangements.
If you intend to catch the train to camp, please register your intention to do this at the bottom of this page.
How can I be sure if I/my child is registered on camp?
Response letters will be sent out to all campers who registered by the due date at least one week before camp. If you have not received your letter by Fri 19th September, please call James on 0432 180 975 to check whether your registration has been received.
What if I/my child is sick on the day of camp?
Please don't send sick kids to camp!! You will be refunded.
What level of supervision is there for campers?
We work on a ratio of one leader to every five campers. In addition to this we have "Camp Parents" who are an older couple with children of their own. There are also several other support positions on camp.
Stuck for Transport?
Have you thought of catching the train to camp? There will be a few PYV leaders (non P-plate drivers) who will be available to pick campers up from Bacchus Marsh station in the evening of Fri 21st March, and return them at the end of camp. Please note that if you/your child is to be picked up from the train station, this must arrange with us prior to camp. Please call James on 0432 180 975 to notify us that you need to be picked up.
