21C is a conference that aims to invest in the lives of young leaders (18 – 28 years) within our denomination in order to encourage, inspire and equip them for gospel ministry.
This year’s 21C conference is to be held at Merroo Conference Centre (Sydney) from September 7-10, 2007. This will be the weekend immediately preceding the 2007 General Assembly of Australia. The conference centre is available from the afternoon of the 6th to enable delegates and mentors to travel there and be ready for the conference start at 9am on Friday 7th.
Paul Sheely will be speaking on “Portraits of Jesus”, focusing on the book of Revelation (please note that this is different from the topic mentioned in the letter posted out)
“ ‘Who do you say I am?’ remains perhaps Jesus’ most important question for any would be disciple. Sadly, the answer is often far less glorious than the reality. In the book of the Revelation, Jesus himself confronts us with some stunning portraits of himself. Strange yet glorious portraits that bring rich comfort and blessing to all those who would take them to heart. We’re going to reflect upon 4 of them.”
Many delegates and mentors will need to arrange time off work and air flights for this conference, so now is the time to start thinking about it and planning to come. Why not reread the letter and the information that was sent out, and make a note of some people in your congregation who might be suitable. You could even email them now while your inbox is open!
